Besides the infrastructure and political problems we face,organised crime and violence has become the order of the day. I would seriously like FIFA to reconsider the WC here. For the safety of all foreigners and tourists that will visit our once beautiful country. If you read the Herald , Daily Dispatch or news24 you will frequently read about foreigners/tourists being attacked and robbed,even murder for the unfortunate ones, let alone our own that are raped and killed everyday for a cellphone or a wallet. What kind of message will we be sending out to the rest of the world if some innocent Soccer fans have to be flown back to their country in a lead coffin? Go with the back-up plan while you still can. We are not ready and I doubt we will be for a long time. I certainly believe that South africa is not ready for hosting a WC.
